The NEW Declaration of Independence

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.–Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present Progressive Movement is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.

They have attacked the free exercise of religion and those who dare to express their religious beliefs in public.

They have established Liberalism as our national religion in direct violation of the Constitution of the United States.

They have abridged the freedom of speech and punished private citizens for expressing political views contrary to their own.

They have repeatedly chipped away at the right of the people to keep and bear arms.

They have deprived citizens of their property without due process of law, and have unconstitutionally established law to further deprive citizens of the right to private property ownership.

They have taken private property not for public use, but for higher tax revenues.

They have extended protections of the Constitution of the United States to non-citizen enemy combatants captured on foreign battlefields at time of war while withholding those protections from US citizens at home.

They have denied and disparaged rights properly retained by the people, constraining a free people to oppressive government regulation and control.

They have ignored the limitations of the United States Constitution and stolen the rights of the States and of the people, punishing the States and the people for not accepting their theft.

They have expanded the public debt so radically as to endanger the future of our entire system of currency.

They have corrupted the legislative process by pressing legislation to vote before the representatives of the people could possibly read, deliberate upon, or debate the legislation upon which they were pressed to vote, thus leading to massive taxation without representation.

They have enslaved an entire nation to dependency on the central government, and regulated industry into non-competitive status.

They have taxed citizens who are left without representation through the imposition of regulations through extra-governmental bureaucracies given the right to legislate without legislative process.

They have permitted corrupt judges to legislate from the bench, create ex post facto law and bills of attainder through the decree of a mere five individuals ruling over hundreds of millions of voices.

They have interfered in the election process, engaging outside sources to violate election law, falsely register voters, cast illegitimate and false votes, and intimidate legitimate voters away from polling places, and they have rewarded those outside sources with billions of taxpayer dollars after the fact and without appropriate deliberation in the legislative process.

They have orchestrated the systematic destruction of social institutions as a means of breaking down all potential authority other than the central government.

They have promoted the murder of citizens for convenience, violating the unalienable right to life.

They have imposed legislation that violates the unalienable rights to liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

They have imposed tyrannical control over independent markets and the businesses in those markets, confiscating private property and internal as well as interstate operations of those businesses.

They have made Senators answerable to no one for the tenure of their offices, removing the oversight of the State legislatures and separating them from review by the people for their extended tenure of office.

They have dragged private citizens before congressional committees for the purpose of public harassment and to cover their own violations of law, ethics, and decency.

They have affected to render the Military independent of the Civil power, granting authority to international bodies without significant representation.

They have subjugated American laws to the laws of foreign governments or even to the expression of foreign tyrants.

They have endeavored to subjugate the Military to the will of an international judicial body operating on laws and beliefs enacted with a complete lack of American representation.

They have sought to destroy our national sovereignty by handing control over to international bodies largely led by third-world dictators.

They have sought to restrict liberty by granting international bodies complete control of the waters surrounding this nation.

They have enslaved us to foreign energy sources through the restriction of access to domestic natural resources.

They have interdicted the free discovery process by imposing political science as if it were non-debatable natural science and declaring the science settled in order to impose further restrictions on personal liberty and further taxation on people and business.

They have erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Czars to harass our people and eat out their substance.

They have packed the judiciary with judges willing to subjugate the law to their political whim, and refused to pursue the removal of judges acting in violation of their oaths of office.

They have adhered to our enemies during time of war, giving them aid and comfort. They have sought to endanger our Military by inciting insurrection in order to cut our supply lines, by releasing information on tactics and technology to the enemy, and by providing tactical information to our enemies prior to action.

They have sought the punishment of our Military while demanding the release of enemy combatants.

In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A President and lockstep Congress whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our Democrat brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.

We, therefore, the Citizens of the United States of America, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, solemnly publish and declare, That these United States are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the Democrat tyranny, and that all political connection between them and the current government, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.
