Henry Paulson, the Almighty King of America’s Economy has spoken! All hail the great dictator! All hail the great dictator!

Announcing that the federal government is now in the business of buying bank stocks, the newly anointed Most Powerful Man on the Planet said it is “not what we want to do but what we have to do” to restore confidence in our financial system.

WELL! COMRADES! There you have it! We should now have MORE confidence in our financial system because the Central Tyranny of the Former United States has stuck it’s enormous nose into the market even further and is now buying our banks!

YES!!! We should stop following our instincts which lead us to have MUCH less confidence in our financial system now that the federal government has decided to buy our major banks, forget EVERYTHING that America has ever stood for, abandon all independent thought, and simply TRUST King of the Economy!

Well. I feel much better now. Pass the Kool-Aid, Comrade! I have forgotten that every single socialist state in the history of history has been a miserable failure! Our all-powerful King has spoken. HE will save the world for us all!

I REALLY, REALLY long for the good ol’ days of SEPTEMBER, when there was at least the illusion that someone in Washington DC had at least heard of a document called the US Constitution! But alas, that illusion has been shattered.
